Auxier Ridge Trail: This might be the most popular official trail in the Red, and truly deserves that title! If you are looking for a moderate hike that will give you some of the best views of the Gorge, look no further! Here is the map location of the trailhead. I love this one because even while Auxier Ridge Trail is an out-and-back, there are SEVERAL ways to make this a loop! You can easily add the Courthouse Rock Trail (#202) that dips you down into the valley before bringing you back up on the ridge at the base of Courthouse Rock, OR my personal favorite is to combine Double Arch Trail (#201) by using Auxier Branch Trail (#203) with Auxier Ridge!! So many choices – but that is a good thing, right? 🙂
